If life gives you lemons

There is a quote that I love. It is a motto of mine and I wish to share it with all of you. It is a quote that I have modified from its original version. I do not claim to be the first to have created this version, but I do claim this quote as one I use.

If life gives you lemons... Pick up the lemons, throw them back in life's face and demand for oranges

I have never been content to allow life to give me lemons and let it be. I do like the taste of lemons, so occasionally I'll make lemonade. But often I want orange juice. Not an entire pitcher mind you, but a glass that will quench my thirst. When life decides that I should have lemons and I want orange juice, I like to make sure that I get my orange juice. It does work, life has a lot of oranges to give out and all we need to do is 'ask.'

I am a psychology major with a minor in writing. Most of the writing practice I have received has been Academic and I can handle my own in that setting. I prefer to write creatively . I enjoy spinning tales of intrigue and deception. Poetry is a forte. The screenplay is a genre that I would like to try, but haven't yet.

My greatest strength is the ease in which I can establish my voice. My kryptonite is my grammar. Luckily I'm taking a class to help me with my Achilles heel.
